Our goal is to supply charities with properties of the desired type and size, in their preferred location, without charging rent and for as long as they require. Many charities face limitations due to scarce resources, affecting their choices in location, quality, and type of premises. Using a property provided by Mekadshei Shevei frees these charities from the burdens of long-term leases and related expenses. This enables them to undertake unique projects and utilise properties without the worries of long-term obligations.

Is the space really free?
Yes, we do not charge anything for the space and is provided completely free of charge. We will still expect you to pay for Business Rates, which will usually only be 20% of the total cost due to the CHaritable use of the space.
How long can I occupy the space for?
There’s no particular time limit. Typically, charities will occupy the space on a short-term basis, usually between one day (for an event or workshop) and two weeks (for a training program or fundraising campaign).

We do this because we recognize that many charities are constrained by limited resources, which often restrict their ability to access suitable properties from where they can effectively operate and serve the public. By providing them with access to vacant properties on a non-commercial, rent-free basis, we aim to remove these barriers.
